A story of three stories

It’s a story of three stories

and it’s about love

without any doubts, but worries

we’re never short of.

With a thunderous aplomb you came along, you handsome bloke,

all the way from a lost junction

finding my shining eyes in the dark which you wanted to soak

carefully as you thought me not free on the wrong assumption.

Your glare made me lose my sanity

woozy illusions became reality.

Then reality became superbia, and thus

the seven sins consorted with the two of us.

You were red and I was blue –

and never mind that our love was true,

you had to go and I had to leave

and it was you and me who were left with grief.

And again we approached the adventure of love and commitment,

feeling deepest happiness and most satisfactory fulfilment.

It was you who freed my belief in love and bliss from stranglehold

and it was you who kept me warm in the very cold.

Now, we are happy exploring feeling and thinking

while our cheeks and hearts are burning.

I feel what you feel

and to make us unstoppable is our ardent zeal.

My head feels ripped as if I’m drunk –

to me you are the perfect hunk.

It is mellow fears and passion we are incredibly wild at;

with our lonely dissonant sounds and different colours we composed a melody of love – so lilac

derived from red and blue.

I still remember the first day I met you

with no expectations at all and I didn’t have a clue

who you are and what you are like –

Yet, it was love at first sight.
